منذ أوجدَ الإنسانُ على هذه الأرض، أخذ يتأمّلُ في كلّ تفصيل فيها، فرأى الأيامَ تجري متلاحقة تنقله من آن إلى آخر، وهو عاجزٌ عن ضبطها أو التحكّم بها، وهذا ما دفعهُ إلى التفكير العميق بمحتواها. لم يكن هذا المحتوى منعزلاً عن رؤية كونية أكثر عمقاً. لذلك، عند تحليله، لا بدّ من موضعته ضمن سياقات أكثر خصوصيّة، وهذا البحث يسعى إلى عرض مفهوم الزمن كما رأته المجتمعات الدينية المتعدّدة.

Ever since man came to life on this earth, he contemplated all its details, he saw the days running successively, taking him from one instant to another, with him unable to have a hold of it, or control it, which drove him into deep thinking about its content.

This was a content un-isolated from a more profound world view. Upon analysis, the said content should be positioned within more specific contexts. This paper attempts to expose the concept of time in the context of (various) religious societies.
