الدين الشعبي

يعالج هذا البحث بصورة رئيسية دراسة الثقافة الشعبية في الدين والدين في الثقافة الشعبية. فحدّد الفرق بين الدين الرسمي الذي يتّسم في جوهره بنوع من القداسة، والدين غير الرسمي الذي يشير إلى الدين الشعبي، والذي يرتبط بالشعور والإحساس لا بالعقيدة والممارسات الرسميّة المرتكزة على علم اللاهوت المنهجي العقلاني.

وذكرت الباحثة أيضًا لمحة عن التديّن الأميركي اليوم ومصار الدين الشعبي في أمريكا والإحياءات المتاخمة للحدود والحضريّة وبروز السلع التجاريّة المسيحيّة الناتجة عن التديّن الشعبي في الثقافة المادّيّة منها: الإصدارات والمكاتب والموسيقى المعاصرة والحركات الدينيّة كالميجاتشيرش. كما برزت وسائل البثّ الإعلامي على شكل برامج إذاعيّة وتلفزيونيّة كوسيط آخر للدين الشعبي.

`This paper mainly tackles popular culture in religion and religion in popular culture. Schaefer demonstrates the difference between the official sacred religion and unofficial religion -popular religion- that’s based on feelings and sentiments rather than official doctrine and practices derived from methodological, logical theology.

She also provides a glimpse of contemporary American religiosity, and then moves on to tackle the sources of popular religion in America, its frontiers and urban revivalism, and its manifestation in material culture, such as publishing, office supplies, contemporary music albums, and religious movements such as Megachurches. Another significant conduit of popular religion is broadcast media in the form of radio and television programming.

تلفت الدراسة التي بين أيدينا إلى تأثير الوليّ “مولاي بوعنان” في حياة سكان أيت عتاب، فيحلّل من خلال الاستمارات الميدانيّة للزوّار الذين في الغالب هم من سكّان المناطق المجاورة، حيث وجدت النسب هيمنة زيارة النساء على الرجال.

كما أبرز الباحث الأسباب التي تجعل العديد من الناس يؤمّون هذا الضريح، منها: التطلّع إلى تحقيق آمال معقودة وأغراض مرغوبة، ويأتي الاستشفاء من المرض في طليعتها. ويحمل الزوّار إلى الضريح هدايا متنوعة تتصدرها من حيث الأهمية: الشموع والنقود والدجاج. كما يحملون الماء والتراب من الضريح الذي يشكّل دليلًا قويًّا على مدى تعلّقهم وارتباطهم بالوليّ. وتخضع زيارة الضريح لطقوس مختلفة تبدأ بتقبيل جدران الضريح والطواف وتقبيل القبر والدعاء…

The study tackles the influence of “Mawlay Būʿnān” on the life of the people of Ait Attab. The author analyzes the field surveys conducted on pilgrims who come mostly from surrounding regions. The surveys showed a higher percentage of women pilgrims than men.

The scholar sheds the light on the motives that drive people to visit such a shrine, which include:  the aspiration to achieve desired hopes and goals, foremost among them, recovering from illness. The pilgrims bear various gifts for the shrine, the most important of which are: candles, money, and chicken. In their turn, they take water and soil from the shrine, a strong indication of how far they are connected to and associated with the Saint. This pilgrimage to the shrine comprises various rituals, beginning with kissing the walls of the shrine, roaming around it, kissing the tomb, praying, etc.
