يعود تاريخ فلسفة الأخلاق بشكل رسمي في بلاد الغرب إلى القرن الأخير، ولم تكن فلسفة الأخلاق رائجة في الحوزة العلمية قبل انتصار الثورة الإسلامية. أمّا بعد انتصار الثورة الإسلامية، بدأ التوسّع الكمّي والكيفي بدراسة فلسفة الأخلاق. عرضت المقال لعلماء خاضوا هذا المبحث إمّا بشكل واضح ودقيق أو بشكل عرضي أصبح لاحقًا من المباحث الأساسيّة، منهم: الشهيد مطهّري، وآية الله الشيخ مصباح اليزدي، والعلّامة محمّد تقي جعفري، وآية الله السبحاني، وآية الله جوادي آملي.
The history of moral philosophy in the West dates formally to the last century. Moral philosophy was not prevalent in the Islamic seminary before the victory of the Islamic Revolution. After its victory, the study of moral philosophy began to develop quantitatively and qualitatively. This paper highlights scholars who examined this topic, either explicitly and precisely or incidentally, which later became one of the fundamental fields of study. Among these scholars are: Martyr Morteza Muṭahharī, ʾĀyat Allāh ash-Shaykh Miṣbāḥ al-Yazdī, al-‘Allāmah Muḥammad Taqī Ja‘farī, ʾĀyat Allāh al-Subḥānī, ʾĀyat Allāh Jawādī ʾĀmulī.
